Compensation: $29.00-$37.00

The Facilities and Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Development and Facilities team, which oversees maintaining current restaurant facilities, the construction and delivery of new stores/restaurants, as well as the remodeling of existing facilities. This role will be located at the Base Camp (corporate) office located in El Segundo, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for Facilities team, including but is not limited to:
  • Acts as the Ecotrak Administrator and maintains and coordinates work orders, proposals, and invoice approval and approves repair and maintenance appropriations within guideline limits. Maintains the database of current assets and updates as needed.
  • Routinely communicates with operations and responds to calls from the field regarding repair and maintenance issues.
  • Provides the Leadership Team with performance reports and metrics from Ecotrak on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Manages the coordination of transition from new store openings to operations, including the set-up of new vendors and PM programs. Maintains and updates the Landlord Contact document as needed.
  • Occasionally visits job sites to assist FM on the admin side (i.e. taking notes, etc.).
  • Administrative support for Development team, including but is not limited to:
    • Coordinate execution of cleaning and chemical install program for New Store Openings
    • Real time monitoring and reporting of warranty and construction issues and status updates that arise during New Store Opening setup and training period via online issue tracking tool for team visibility.
    • Communication and follow up with development team managers, vendors, contractors, and operations regarding resolution of issues that occur during new store training.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, including managing multiple restaurant projects simultaneously is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in restaurants, retail or convenience store preferred
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact with external and internal clients
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines; natural curiosity for problem solving
  • Proven, solid Excel skills and the ability to learn and operate an automated facility online platform (Ecotrak).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings is preferred, but not required
