Ashley Distribution Services, LLC. has multiple openings for Senior IT Application Analysts in Charlotte, NC.

Elicit technical system requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: functional requirements through the Business Requirements Document (BRD), use cases, Graphical User Interface (GUI), screen and interface designs. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs. Perform system set-up, configuration, administrative duties and testing. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Develop user manuals associated with the applications and conduct user training as needed. Maintain reference documentation that includes definition and source of data elements.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in transportation or related.

Also, must have work experience in:

• Communicating with internal and external customers and communicating issues to executive stakeholders utilizing the following software: ticket solution resolution including Zendesk and ServiceNow and Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio;
• Utilizing Azure DevOps to write user stories with clear and precise acceptance criteria and relay design to developers in an agile environment;
• Gathering detailed business requirements and analyzing to design development recommendations to build out a project lifecycle within Smartsheets; and
• Transportation systems pertaining to driver/equipment including Electronic Logging Device (ELD), SkyBitz, and video safety monitoring.
