Casco Bay Lines has immediate openings for ticket agents to join our crew.
This position requires an outgoing individual who will work productively under pressure and time constraints in a busy office environment.
Some of the job duties that could be required of this employee:
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Answer and direct information e-mails
- Sell and provide information on islands, cruises and tours.
- Operate computerized ticket system to sell tickets and maintain cash controls.
- Responsible for general appearance and safety of the terminal, including inside and outside passenger waiting areas, public restrooms, and general traffic flow.
- Provide excellent customer assistance, communications, and information
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements for employment:
- Willingness to comply with federally mandated drug testing
- Over the age of 16
- Ability to pick up work outside of scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of the Portland area and Casco Bay
