Job Description

We are looking for a Java AWS Cloud Developer to develop and deploy scalable, serverless applications using Java (8/11/21) and AWS Lambda. This position will be full-time and hybrid.

What You’ll Do

• Build API-driven and event-based services with AWS tech like API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and S3
• Design, implement, and optimize relational (Aurora MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) data models
• Collaborate with DevOps to create CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure with GitHub Actions, AWS SAM/CDK/CloudFormation
• Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and high-performance across global environments
• Dig into issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve our products
• Work closely in Agile sprints with Product Analysts, QA Testers, and global stakeholders

What You'll Need

Required:

• Proven Java development experience, preferably across Java 8/11/21
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and key services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience working with both SQL (Aurora/RDS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases
• Background in CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (GitHub Actions, AWS SAM/CDK/CloudFormation)
• Exposure to cloud security, performance tuning, and monitoring best practices
• A collaborative mindset with excellent English communication skills (verbal + written)

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Node.js, Python, or front-end tech

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
