Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, this position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Crow Museum department. The role ensures the smooth operation of daily activities through effective coordination, communication, and organizational assistance across departmental functions.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and two years office administration or project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and two years of office administration for a museum or university is preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and calendar management for the Senior Director and Director of Development
  • Serve as primary contact for the Director’s office and department
  • Coordinate meetings, events, tours, and programs logistics related to:
    • A/V Media Service Requests
    • Parking
    • Facilities management move requests
    • Catering orders
    • Guest pick up and drop off at hotels/ airport
    • Guest communications
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director

Key Skills

  • Ability to manage schedules, files, and office systems efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication for interacting with colleagues and external visitors
  • Accuracy in data entry, document preparation, and task follow-through
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and basic office equipment

Standard office setting. Light to medium sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled.

Work Notice:

The Crow Museum of Asian Art has two locations. This position is based at the campus of UT Dallas in Richardson, TX. Work will be performed on-site and in person.
