As a Software QA Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our situational awareness solutions. Collaborating closely with developers and product teams, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans for enterprise-level applications that convert raw data into actionable insights. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help validate intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that serve a diverse user base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing Lifecycle: Lead and engage in all phases of testing, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
  • Test Planning: Develop and maintain detailed test plans and cases based on user stories, specifications, and designs within an Agile framework.
  • Test Execution: Perform manual and automated test runs, analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous enhancement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Agile Participation: Actively contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline and five or more years of professional software quality analyst experience. Equivalent professional quality analyst experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on software testing experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Testing Expertise: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and industry best practices.
  • Test Design: Proven ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Defect Management: Experienced in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or Bugzilla.
  • Automation Skills: Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Hammer, or similar) is a plus.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
