About the Role
As an engineer on the Data Infrastructure team, you’ll help design and build the foundational systems that power analytics at scale. You'll work on distributed compute and storage platforms—focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance in a multi-tenant cloud environment. This includes evolving our Spark and Hadoop-based services, improving cluster management and observability, and enabling high availability and disaster recovery. You'll collaborate closely with other infrastructure and product teams to deliver seamless, robust experiences for our customers.

You’re passionate about building reliable, distributed systems in the cloud. You enjoy solving challenges around scalability, availability, and disaster recovery. You think beyond just code—focusing on clean abstractions, automation, and enabling customer success. You’re skilled at balancing speed and quality, and you’re comfortable working with Java, Spark, Public Cloud (AWS, GCP) and the K8s ecosystem.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
