Job Title: Print Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Print Operator in the Service Bureau department, where you will be responsible for producing various printed materials such as shelf strips, posters, and price tags for leading grocery stores. This role requires operating label and lamination machines, along with cross-training as a distribution technician.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain label and lamination machines.
  • Perform set-ups and changeovers for printing operations.
  • Cross-train as a distribution technician, which includes understanding numbers and managing picking and packaging orders.
  • Ensure quality control and perform quality checks on printed materials.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with printing press and machine operations.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to handle changeovers.
  • 6+ months of mechanically inclined duties.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Proficiency in assembly line operations, inspection, boxing, and packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in printing or press operations is advantageous but not required.
  • 6+ months of verifiable work experience with reliable references.
  • Ability to pass screening and compliance.

Work Environment

Experience a clean and climate-controlled environment with a production area that is loud and has a slight ink smell. The team consists of 15-20 colleagues, fostering a collaborative and energetic atmosphere. Must wear composite-toed or steel-toed shoes for safety. Shifts are flexible, with additional hours during the busy season.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas.

Pay: $20/hr

Shift: 6pm-6am Sun - Tue and 6pm-12am Wed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
