Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join a dynamic production company in Ramsey, MN as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a vital role in building and manufacturing workout equipment, including ellipticals, weight racks, and tension weight machines. This role involves assembling, prepping sub-assemblies, and moving completed units, with responsibility for 32 different machines.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.
  • Move machines as required.
  • Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.
  • Use a manual and electric pallet jack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • 6 months of previous working experience required.
  • Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with power tools or hand tools.
  • Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools.
  • Ability to read work instructions and drawings.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Good memorization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Good work history, even if not in manufacturing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
