Job Title: Advanced Repair Technician
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of PCBs and perform timely repairs.
- Utilize scopes for root cause analysis and repair of PC boards.
- Collaborate with electronics engineers to discuss layouts and propose assembly procedures.
- Remove and install IC components on PCB boards, including SMT components, with an understanding of resistor values.
- Perform board-level component replacement to achieve low fallout.
- Read and create sketches to illustrate design details that meet functional criteria of electronic units.
- Build, maintain, and repair test fixtures specific to board-level issues.
- Construct experimental, prototype, and production wire harnesses as needed for board-level repair cells.
- Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype models based on engineering instructions and technical manuals.
- Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests for performance evaluation.
- Analyze and interpret test data, adjust and modify circuitry and components, and record effects on unit performance.
- Write technical reports, and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to illustrate system operating characteristics and functional limitations for engineering review.

- $25-$35/hr (depending on experience)
Essential Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics, with proficiency in programming, reading, and communicating with chips.
- Experience with PCB board diagnostics.
- Minimum of 5 years of soldering experience.
- Proficiency in soldering, electronic assembly, PCB repair, and electronic repair.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
