CTG is seeking to fill an Mobile Application Developer (Android & iOS) opening for our client in Middletown, NJ.

Location: Middletown, NJ

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Skills:

• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development
• Experience with Android development using Java and Kotlin is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with JDT tools and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
• Knowledge of Apple’s and Google’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
