Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
In this role, you will join McKinsey’s Real Estate Insights Center (REIC) domain —part of the firm’s Private Capital practice—to support real estate CSTs (client service teams) by leveraging proprietary data, advanced analytics tools, and real estate expertise. Based in our Costa Rica office, you’ll be a key contributor to our global knowledge team, helping consultants and clients unlock insights across key commercial real estate topics, including asset performance, market trends, and capital flows.
Your day-to-day tasks may include helping structure a client question, determining the sources of insight, analyzing data and communicating findings. Further, you will assist clients in developing internal capabilities to better implement RE strategies as part of the service line’s capability building initiatives. You will also help develop new client opportunities through proposal preparation, pipeline tracking, etc.
Over time, you will build a good understanding across real estate topics and develop areas of expertise. You’ll collaborate with the global knowledge team and practice leadership to build and share knowledge, best practices and new ideas.
You will be based in our San Jose office in Costa Rica as a part of the McKinsey Real Estate Insights Center team. McKinsey’s Real Estate Practice partners with investors, developers, operators, and occupiers to navigate the evolving landscape of the built environment. Leveraging proprietary technology, global scale, and local expertise, the practice assists clients in embracing disruption, pioneering innovation, and shaping a sustainable future for the industry.
You will work closely with practice leadership and our digital solutions teams to develop and deliver insights for our Real Estate clients, using specialized approaches and supporting our client service teams.
In addition to your day-to-day activities with the client service teams, you will be a part of a dynamic and professional community of colleagues that works together to learn, develop, and share best practices. This role will have a mix of a hybrid/in office working model.
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
