Your Role

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of network engineers, managing critical infrastructure and driving the roadmap for automation, security, and performance across IAG. You’ll ensure our international network is resilient, scalable, and secure, while simplifying operations and delivering a world-class experience for our customers, partners, and internal teams.

You’ll play a key role in uplifting operational visibility, streamlining network and security processes, and contributing to enterprise-wide programs. Your leadership will directly influence IAG’s digital platforms—enabling faster delivery, stronger cyber defences, and smarter, more cost-effective services.

We're looking for someone with deep expertise in network modernisation, infrastructure as code, and cloud integration, paired with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. This permanent role based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne)

About You

• 15+ years in technology business or product management
• Technical expertise, either an engineering degree or equivalent, or 10+ years in engineering management
• 5+ years as a team manager or project management
• Direct experience in consultancy, facilitation, or negotiation leadership
• Experience reporting to and developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Commercial negotiation and contract management > $20m
• Tracking and synthesis of product and industry trends, short and long term
• Root cause analysis and process optimisation
• Facilitation skills
• Financial services background / experience desirable
• A working knowledge of design thinking
• Entrepreneurial sprit
• Independent and creative thinking
• Passionate about delivering business value with technology.
• Ability to range from detail to ‘big picture’ and technical to business contexts.
• ‘One team’ approach
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills to articulate complex technical solutions and concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders.
