JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Finance Systems and Technology is an experienced professional responsible for leading technology and financial system initiatives aimed at optimizing finance operations across properties. This role plays a critical part in designing and implementing technology solutions for the shared services platform, ensuring alignment with global standards and business growth objectives. Key responsibilities include driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and accurate financial reporting through strategic technology design and enhancement. The role emphasizes cost-effectiveness, data integrity, and seamless integration with global financial systems.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across finance, IT, and operations to build a scalable, compliant, and future-ready shared services organization. Additionally, this position will oversee the development of specialized roles, implementation of training programs, and execution of automation initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and ensuring long-term operational sustainability.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing financial systems and platform.
  • Strong knowledge of technology project management and automation tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and engage key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience with process automation tools and system platform architect set-up.
  • Knowledge of software and platform development in lodging/hospitality industry
  • Strong project management experience for complex projects or financial operations environment.
  • Lodging/ hospitality industry knowledge preferred.
  • Translates business needs into what needs to get done; ensure that all work is completed effectively; monitor the progress of work against schedules and budgets; maintain high performance standard; work effectively by using a highly collaborative style.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; influence without direct management authority.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and familiarity with local culture/norms. Multi-language skills preferred.
  • Creates an atmosphere in which timely information flows smoothly both upward and downward through the organization; possesses exceptional communications skills.
  • Ability to evaluate business trends and partner with area team member to successfully implement new business programs and strategies that enhance financial performance.
  • Supports, initiates and manages change within the organization, taking steps to remove barriers or to accelerate its pace.

Platform Design & Development

  • Support the conceptualization, design, and implementation of a shared services platform by provide system and technology advice.
  • Ensure that platform development aligns with strategic business objectives and is scalable to support future growth and operational needs. Process Optimization & Cost Efficiency
  • Assess existing processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement the technology and system design timely and cost effectively.

Workflow Automation & Efficiency Gains

  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities to optimize financial reporting processes and minimize manual intervention.
  • Implement technology-driven solutions that accelerate reporting cycles and enable faster, data-informed business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Organizational Design
  • Work with key stakeholders to design a scalable shared services organization that supports long-term business objectives.
  • Define team structures, roles, and operational models ensure effective execution and alignment with business goals.

Training & Capacity

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to build technical and functional capabilities within the shared service team.
  • Promote continuous learning and improvement to ensure long-term sustainability and high-quality service delivery.

Cross-Team Coordination & Alignment

  • Act as a liaison between operational teams, senior management, and project teams to ensure strategic alignment on goals and initiatives.
  • Facilitate open communication, collaboration and coordination across departments and business units to drive successful outcomes.
