POSITION: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program Full-Time Instructor
REPORTS TO: Dean of Allied Health
SALARY: Low to Mid $80’s depending on education and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will direct student learning and assess student progress towards achieving the objectives and requirements of the ASN program, in the appropriate learning domains. Will be responsible for instruction at multiple campuses as needed. Most all ASN classes include a clinical component, and may be comprised of online, laboratory, classroom, or clinical instructional responsibilities in a clinical or simulation setting, depending on the course requirements. The ASN Instructor:
The ASN Instructor may perform other duties as assigned by the program director. Clinical instructors may teach up to two days of clinical instruction weekly in spring, summer and/or fall semesters. Semester clinical rotations typically last 10 weeks in the spring and fall, and 8 weeks in the summer semester. Clinical groups will be assigned to area health care system facilities, and/or outpatient healthcare facilities in north Fulton, Forsyth, or Hall county areas, depending on the course being taught. The work hours are variable; however, the class day is usually 0800 – 5:30, and the clinical day usually begins at 0630, and is customarily an 8, 10, or 12-hour day, depending on the need and the clinical unit.

Would occasionally lift or move objects of a light to medium weight, up to 20 pounds. Work is typically performed in an office environment with intermittent sitting, standing, or walking in various settings. Full range of hand and finger motion may be utilized for data entry purposes.
