The Senior Analyst, Learning and Development will design and develop training materials for our Customer Engagement Services team. This includes creating training that encompasses onboarding, cross-training, upskilling/reskilling, functional business changes, associate development, and functional leadership development. This training supports thousands of Walmart associates across 26+ states and involves partnering with a global network of outsource partners. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, Learning and Development, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing training materials for our Customer Engagement Services Team. You will ensure that our training programs are effective and aligned with business needs. You will create training that encompasses onboarding, cross-training, upskilling/reskilling, functional business changes, associate development, and functional leadership development. This training supports thousands of Walmart associates across 26+ states and involves partnering with a global network of outsource partners.

What You'll Do

  • Design and Develop Training Materials: Identify training needs, translate information into accurate and concise training content, and facilitate meetings with project teams to analyze, plan, design, develop, and implement training deliverables.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Apply up-to-date expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans. Provide expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
  • Complete Post-Training Audits: Review and evaluate post-implementation support requirements, communicate feedback to key stakeholders, establish required actions, and oversee the development of remediation plans.
  • Implement Business Solutions: Build relationships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, and carry out necessary processes and practices. Monitor progress, recognize improvement opportunities, and adapt to organizational changes.
  • Deliver Training: Collaborate with business units, participate in site readiness assessments, collaborate with training delivery teams, and provide training results to key stakeholders.
  • Promote Company Values: Model compliance with company policies, support the company mission, and uphold standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Develop Innovative Training Methodologies: Research alternative adult training processes, benchmark with internal and external training organizations, and implement new training programs.
  • Enhance Learner Experience: Ensure the learning environment is conducive to learning, engage subject matter experts, manage associate performance during courses, gather feedback, and implement program improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in training, quality, knowledge management, contact center, or related area.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in training in an operational or production-based environment or related area. Project management experience and experience with instructional design software are a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in learning design, adult learning principles, and e-learning authoring tools. Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
