Position Summary:
The Treasury Manager will be responsible for supporting all Treasury functions and strategic initiatives related to capital structure, liquidity management, financial risk, and capital markets transactions. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Treasury.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
- Support all Treasury department initiatives, including cash flow and capital structure optimization.
- Maintain complex daily cash flow model. Support daily cash positioning activities, including forecasting cash flow needs, maintaining optimal liquidity, managing working capital, and bank reporting. Monitor activity and flag unusual items.
- Move funds between accounts/banks as needed to meet obligations. Initiate wire transfers and ACH payments, as requested.
- Maintain efficient bank account structure to optimize liquidity across organization so cash is deployed efficiently. Maintain appropriate account access by Athletico associates.
- Maintain and foster relationships with banking institutions and other financial partners.
- Monitor and pay debt service obligations. Monitor covenant calculations on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support capital market activities, including equity and debt issuance, and work with external advisors and Private Equity Sponsor to optimize funding strategies.
- On an ad-hoc basis as requested by VP Treasury and CFO, develop appropriate reporting and modelling capabilities required to support short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting needs.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and treasury performance.
- Improve treasury controls and ensure asset protection through controlled, monitored and updated access to bank accounts, organization and archiving of backup documentation for bank transactions, control over automated debits, bank account rationalization and enhanced use of technology.
- Support the review and analysis of banking and investment management fees to identify cost reductions.
- Support Revenue Cycle Management to minimize issues and optimize working capital.
- Coordinate with AP to manage terms and cash outflows efficiently via ACH and check payments.
- Manage excess operating cash to obtain optimum interest revenue.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; [MBA or CFA preferred].
- Work Experience:
- Three + years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or capital markets with strong expertise in cash management, debt management, and financial risk, ideally in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Experience in high-growth, innovative industries is highly desirable. Experience with private-equity-owned companies is also highly desirable.
- Experience with banking portals and financial instruments. Including covenant calculations.
- Extensive expertise with analytical methods and techniques, and strong numeracy.
- Attention to detail and proficiency reconciling large volumes of data.
- Advance knowledge and experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including highly proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in multi-location business is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of general ledger, banking, accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet specified deadlines.
- Ability to generate and translate ideas and adapt to change.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
- Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- Consistent with a standard office environment, noise level is low with little to no extraordinary environmental factors.

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
