Position Summary
As a part of Student Engagement and Wellness at Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Student Care Center and the Office of the Dean of Students are committed to holistic student support and ensuring student safety and well-being through fostering a university community of integrity and respect. The scope of the Student Care Center includes the facilitation of non-clinical case management, general support and referrals for students experiencing life challenges which interfere with academic progress and overall well-being, management of Student Emergency Retention Funds, and assistance with various public benefits and basic needs support. In collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students, the Student Care Center leads the University’s CARE Team (behavioral intervention team) as well. Functions within the Dean of Students Office include: student conduct, student conflict resolution services, and leadership of the CARE Team.
The Intake & Operations Manager will play a critical role in the Student Care Center and Dean of Students Office by responding to and triaging MSU Denver student needs referred to these offices. Additionally, this position will manage the daily operations of the Student Care Center and Office of the Dean of Students through supervision of student employees, supplemental oversight of budgets, fiscal transactions and purchasing of relevant supplies and equipment, and other administrative functions.
This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of the Student Care Center and supervises a small team of student employees.

Salary for Announcement
We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $47,300 - $56,700. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
