Inventory Cycle Counter
About the Role:
Our client, a leader in equipment manufacturing within their industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Cycle Counter to join our Canby team. In this critical role, you’ll ensure inventory accuracy, support shipping operations, and help maintain the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM with OT in the summer months
Pay: $19/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials and assembled stock
- Assemble and pull orders for shipment via UPS and LTL carriers
- Oversee the hardware kit “cage” area, ensuring kits are assembled on schedule and procedures are followed
- Order and maintain stock of essential supplies, including safety and hardware items
- Manage the control and movement of materials in and out of the department
- Review monthly production schedules to forecast material needs and ensure availability
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate in-plant transfers, report shortages, and follow up on incomplete orders
- Handle shipping of UPS and Hazmat orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
- Supervise warehouse activities in the UPS area, including equipment inspections and safety compliance
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with inventory control and shipping logistics
- Familiarity with Hazmat shipping procedures (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and shipping documentation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
