Job Summary

We’re seeking a QA Specialist with deep expertise in Werum PAS-X to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems in the life sciences domain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong grasp of data models and bioinformatics, and is passionate about driving excellence in testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust test strategies for Werum PAS-X systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Lead and manage test execution including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Translate business requirements into effective test scenarios in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior testers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Analyze test results and deliver detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA methodologies.
• Leverage domain expertise in data models and bioinformatics to enhance validation processes.
• Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects and improve system quality.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
• Continuously monitor and optimize testing workflows for efficiency and innovation.
• Stay current with emerging QA technologies and trends to drive improvements.
• Improve test coverage and reduce time-to-market for new releases.
• Align testing timelines with overall project schedules in coordination with project managers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with Werum PAS-X in a QA or validation environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data models.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics and its application in system validation.
• Demonstrated success in leading testing projects in a hybrid work model.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
