Join Danfoss Climate Solutions as our new Director of Internal Communications – a key leadership role where you'll drive how we communicate, collaborate, and engage employees worldwide.

In this role, you’ll focus 90% of your time on internal communication. You’ll lead a team of four experienced and self-driven professionals — each responsible for communication within a division or function within our segment. Your job is to coach, connect, and align them around a common direction, while allowing room for local ownership.

You’ll report to the VP of Global Public Affairs, Sustainability and Communication, based in Brussels.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an internal communication strategy aligned with our business goals and sustainability vision
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, ensuring clear and engaging messaging
• Coach and unify a decentralized team of five communicators across functions and regions
• Translate strategy into action through compelling content, campaigns, events, and leadership messaging
• Support change and crisis communication with empathy and clarity
• Track and improve communication impact across channels and audiences
• Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Sustainability and Public Affairs to ensure alignment and engagement

Background & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications—ideally from a global, matrixed environment
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing teams and advising senior stakeholders
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in German or Danish is a strong advantage
• Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a passion for storytelling
• Experience working across borders and cultures
• Interest or hands-on experience with AI
• You hold a degree in Communications, Business, or a similar field
