SUMMARY -
Compile data and generate reports for customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality
standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct product development testing according to established protocols.
- Perform ASTM and ISTA testing with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to all ASTM, ISTA, UN, TAPPI, and Pratt Industries' standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and verify the calibration of all laboratory testing equipment.
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of all laboratory equipment to minimize downtime.
- Interpret the impact of testing results on corrugated packaging performance.
- Monitor and maintain specified laboratory environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager and team members in the planning and execution of projects.
- Independently manage and complete projects as assigned by the Quality Manager, ensuring timely and accurate results. Assist other Quality staff members with their assigned projects.
- Proactively observe equipment conditions and promptly report any potential malfunctions or issues to the Quality Manager.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -
- Preferred: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Quality Auditor or Quality Technician.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, including [mention specific skills like data analysis, report generation, advanced formulas, etc. if applicable].
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information.
REASONING ABILITY -
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
