Do you live for the thrill of identifying prospects and turning them into clients? The Pinion Technology Core (PTC) team is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the Montana OR Kansas regions. PTC provides tailored IT services and network support for clients. The SDR will work directly with the sales team to research and qualify new leads ultimately selling the PTC managed services portfolio.

This position must be in the State of Montana or Kansas, preferably in proximity to a Pinion office.

What You’ll Do:

As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your role is crucial in identifying and qualifying leads, initiating conversations, and supporting our marketing efforts to build a strong sales pipeline.

Lead Research & Qualification

  • Identify and research target companies and decision-makers
  • Use a variety of tools to gather insights and contact information
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on ideal customer profiles

Initial Outreach

  • Conduct cold calls and emails to engage prospects
  • Set up discovery meetings for the sales team
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions in the CRM

Marketing Support

  • Assist in executing email and social media campaigns
  • Collaborate with the team to refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements

Pipeline Management

  • Track and report on lead generation metrics
  • Work closely with sales team to align goals and strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years in a sales, marketing, or lead generation role (preferably in tech or MSP)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel less than 10% annually

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20-26 per hour plus bonus/commission.
