Job Description:
Project leadership through management of necessary human and technical resources. Ensure project selection and departmental activities are in support of system and department strategic initiatives.
Prioritize work appropriately to maintain operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Direct personnel functions for the department, including hiring, mentoring, leadership, coaching, evaluating, termination and salary administration.
Assume a leadership role in the development of department strategies and tactics, planning, reviewing and monitoring activities that provide value to key customers and align and support their KPI’s.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, project leadership and vendors.
Oversight in diagnosis, resolution and communication of failures encountered in application software and related technologies.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field Preferred
Experience
7 Years Relevant IS or health care operations experience to include 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience with no degree Required
or
5 Years Relevant IS or health care operations experience to include 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience with an Associate’s degree Required
or
3 Years Relevant IS or health care operations experience to include 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience with a Bachelor’s degree Required
and
2 Years Major application experience in a large scale user and/or healthcare environment Preferred
Building Automation and/or Physical Security Applications Experience a Plus
IT Experience Strongly Preferred
Skills
Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communications, presentation skills and customer relation skills.
Excellent organizational and resource management skills.
Action oriented and understand how to make data driven decisions.
Knowledge of industry and testing best practice standards, processes and procedures.
Ability to work and execute independently as well as across organizational boundaries.
Ability to mentor staff in respective teams and across organizational structures.
A seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in a creative way.
Serves as a leader and mentor across teams on projects, initiatives and diagnosis of failure when needed.
Coordinates problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgement in selecting and managing resources for obtaining solutions.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel across areas of expertise.
Mentors team and coordinates instruction on day to day work and new assignments.
