The Role

Wipro is seeking a seasoned IAM Architect to join our cybersecurity team supporting one of Australia’s most critical infrastructure clients. This high-impact role involves leading IAM strategy, architecture, and delivery while mentoring a team of IAM professionals. You’ll work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on security excellence and continuous improvement.

͏Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise IAM solutions across cloud/on-prem platforms (e.g., Entra ID, SailPoint, Okta)
• Lead automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and identity lifecycle integrations
• Act as SME in IAM domains: provisioning, certification, RBAC, IGA, SOD.
• Integrate IAM with HR systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle) and directories (AD, LDAP)
• Provide strategic guidance on SSO, MFA, and protocols (SAML, OAuth)
• Proven ability in cloud capabilities including Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.Support PAM/PIM technologies (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault)
• Define IAM roadmap and scalable solutions.Mentor IAM engineers and promote Agile/DevOps practices
• Align solutions with Zero Trust and passwordless principles
• Collaborate with business stakeholders for gathering requirements, solution design and effort estimation for new epics/projects
• Identifying opportunities for technology enhancements and automation.
• Introduce technical innovations to improve efficiency and maturity of operationsHelp define/update build standards for in scope technologies, KPIs and process best practiceTechnically enable Wipro team members for planning and executing complex changes, and resolving priority issues.

Required Skills & Experience͏

• 8+ years in IAM, 3+ years in architecture/leadership.
• Broad IDAM product experience with proven skill skills across Entra ID, SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, HashiCorp
• Strong understanding of directory services and HR system integration
• Extensive experience in development and specifically leading development for Identity Management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with PAM and PIM tools such as CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and middleware.Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Certifications in SailPoint, Okta, SC-300, CyberArk, or HashiCorp are highly desirable.
