Location: Barcelona, Spain

Major Accountabilities

  • Create and document user stories.
  • Design of solution including all required documentation (e.g. support requirement prioritization, user requirement specification, adherence to LDC core, facilitate fit-to-core assessment for solution)
  • Define core elements for the build (e.g. define scope for & run user/unit acceptance testing, definition of SAP user roles)
  • Build solution including standard configuration, additions including interface and approved developments as a team in collaboration with business, IT and platform experts.
  • Build training material and contribute to change impact assessments as well as value generation assessment.
  • Execute trainings for users and contribute to organizational readiness for go-live (including establishment of super users)
  • Support change management around the LDC users in collaboration with GPOs (e.g. adoption of global SOPs and advice for local SOPs)
  • Report back learnings from go-lives and system acceptance.

Key Performance Indicators / Measures of Success

  • Documents completeness and reach required quality.
  • Delivery of key landmarks of the program on time, in quality and within budget, with full agreement and support of country and global teams

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor university degree or higher

Languages

  • English as necessary and additional language(s) preferred.

Experiences

  • Proven senior experience in their process area at least with 10 years of experience and working in a matrix style within a large, complex process landscape.
  • Role model for Novartis’ values and behaviors within the organization with ability to motivate and develop people.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills with proven speaking, presentation, and facilitation experience in internal and external environments

Technical/Functional Skills & Knowledge

  • Expert level understanding of various worldwide end to end sales order processes (in particular on releasing sales orders for delivery, billing and returns), data models, required capabilities and operational pain points within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Super user level experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution module
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Able to leverage networks of professionals across functions and business areas.
  • Understands the competing organizational needs beyond own part of business.
  • Able to interpret complex information and to influence internal and external peers.
  • Role model for Novartis’ values and behaviors within the organization with ability to motivate and develop people.
