Primary Responsibilities :
- Writes and maintains source code
- Creates, maintains software applications and applies frameworks involved in a software release
- Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, bug fixing
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript programming languages is required
- Develops, modifies computer applications software or specialized utility programs
- Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions
- Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories, concepts
- Applies computer science principles, engineering techniques, mathematical analysis
- Applies concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
- Performs work that requires practical experience and training
- Work is performed under supervision
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related discipline
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills
- US Citizenship
- DOD Secret Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software product development
- Agile Experience
- Software development tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence
- Languages/frameworks: Java, JavaScript, Python, React
- Source control tools: Git
