Role & Responsibilities:

Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):

The Finance Business Process Manager – FP&A supports the S/4 Business Transformation by managing and optimizing FP&A process and design within SAP S/4HANA. This role collaborates with the Finance Business Process Owner, finance teams, and the PMO to ensure seamless process integration, data migration, and adoption, driving standardization and compliance across VF’s APAC region.

Key Result Areas:

  • Process Design & Implementation: Support the Finance Business Process Owner on S/4 HANA design (e.g. PC/CC and COA) to enable robust gross-to-net, SG&A, pricing and costing and analysis.
  • Pricing and Rebate Management: Collaborate with finance and business teams to design and implement rebate management processes, ensuring accurate tracking, calculation, and reporting of rebates. Support BPO to integrate pricing and rebate management into business workflows, enhancing visibility and control.
  • Data Conversion & Migration: Partner with finance teams to design and execute data conversion strategies, ensuring accurate migration of financial data (e.g., pricing, costing, rebate, and transactional data) into S/4HANA.
  • Training, Testing & Cutover: Create training materials, facilitate UAT, and support cutover activities to ensure a smooth transition to new reporting and rebate management processes.
  • Process Optimization: Utilize S/4HANA, other finance applications (e.g. Vistex, BPC) and technology (e.g. PowerBI) to streamline reporting, pricing, costing, and rebate workflows, improving efficiency and transparency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between finance teams and the S/4 program, addressing process gaps and aligning solutions with business needs.

Compliance & Standardization: Ensure management reporting, pricing, costing, and rebate processes are consistency across the APAC region.

  • Strong leadership to guide finance teams through process and system changes.
  • Excellent communication to align technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a focus on delivering compliant outcomes.

Organizational transformation skills

  • Expertise in finance process management within ERP environments.
  • Ability to document and implement detailed process flows (L4-L6).
  • Experience supporting statutory and tax compliance in a transformation context.

Domain knowledge

  • Deep understanding of management reporting (e.g., gross-to-net analysis), pricing, costing, and rebate management processes.

Technology awareness

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Vistex, BPC and PowerBI / Tableau

Functional Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Expertise in integrating regulatory requirements into ERP processes.

Experience

  • 6+ years in finance, with 3+ years focused on management reporting, pricing, costing, or rebate management within an ERP environment (SAP S/4HANA or ECC preferred).
  • Proven success in designing and implementing financial processes during large-scale transformations.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration on data migration and training.

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum: Degree holder in related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Subject Expert In: Finance, Business Process Management, ERP Systems

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in English and Chinese

Specific Working Conditions

Frequency of Travel: As required to support regional finance teams and project delivery.
