Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, vendor demonstrations, and negotiations to ensure the best-fit solution is chosen.
Strategic Planning & Assessments:
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define business requirements and align them with ERP functionalities.
Develop a comprehensive ERP strategy and roadmap that supports organizational priorities, transforms business practices, and enhances overall efficiency.
Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to continuously refine our ERP strategy.
ERP Implementation:
Spearhead the planning, configuration, and execution of ERP implementations and upgrades.
Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Oversee data migration processes and integration with existing systems while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Develop, deliver, and track training programs and documentation for end-users to streamline adoption and maximize system utilization.
Implement change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions, and provide post-implementation support to optimize system performance.
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a diverse team of internal staff and external consultants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and ERP vendors to ensure that project goals and user needs are met.
Regularly communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership, recommending adjustments as necessary.
Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify potential project risks and establish mitigation strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of ERP initiatives, and drive improvements based on feedback and performance data.
Ensure that all ERP processes comply with internal policies as well as regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in ERP management, particularly in roles involving system selection, strategic planning, and full-cycle implementation.
Proven record of overseeing large-scale ERP projects and vendor relationships in a complex organizational setting.
Experience with leading ERP platforms (such as Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant systems) is highly desirable.
Technical and Analytical Skills:
Strong understanding of ERP functionalities, data integration, system architecture, and project management methodologies.
Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience with data migration, system testing, and performance optimization.
Leadership and Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside the capability to make strategic decisions.
