Job Description
This position Provides professional services work of a managerial nature in the coordination, implementation, and oversight of the Mail Processing and Resolution (MPR) Unit of the Maine Revenue Service’s (MRS) Operations Processing Center (OPC); covering a broad scope of diverse functions to meet operational needs. Responsibilities require using independent judgment, initiative, and discretion in directing and managing a group of State employees and seasonal temporary staffing contractors on varied and complex administrative matters in a fast-paced, highly productive work environment. Required abilities include maintaining a knowledge of tax forms, laws, and procedures; MRS rules and regulations; and state, agency, and departmental policies and procedures. Necessary skills consist of effective oral and written communication, exceptional internal and external customer service, detailed planning and organizing, adaptability, accuracy, and attention to detail.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, training, and/or experience in Business/Public Administration, Accounting, Economics, or another related field demonstrating competency in coordinating business operations, reviewing and maintaining records, and acting in a leadership capacity.
