Job Description
- Lead the overall design, development, and optimization of light-duty electric vehicle drive axle systems.
- Develop detailed project timelines and roadmaps to ensure timely completion of R&D tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to select, integrate, and define technical specifications for key components such as E-motor and GBX.
- Support performance simulation tests on the electric drive axle system design and adjust the design based on test results.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal resources to ensure project progress according to schedule.
- Write detailed technical documentation including design reports, testing records, and outcome reports.
- Participate in vehicle assembly tuning work to ensure compatibility of the drive axle system with other systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in electric vehicles, particularly in R&D for light-duty EV drive systems.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of motor technology, power electronics, and control principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with CAD design software (e.g.Creo) and CAE tools for system simulation analysis.
- Innovative problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness in addressing challenges during the development process
