Job Title: Production Control Analyst II

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversee and optimize production order (router) releases to support efficient manufacturing operations in a dynamic aerospace environment.

This role involves analyzing and managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system data, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with production schedules, inventory levels, and customer delivery requirements. The Analyst will proactively address production challenges, implement process improvements, and contribute to the execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• MRP and Router Management: Monitor and analyze MRP system suggestions to ensure timely creation, release, and maintenance of production routers in accordance with company scheduling policies.
• Production Optimization: Evaluate part requirements, production build plans, and shop floor capacity to optimize material quantities, manufacturing efficiency, and inventory levels while ensuring on-time fulfillment of customer sales orders.
• Router Modifications: Issue replacement or split routers to address scrap, rejections, engineering change orders (ECOs), or operational requests, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Customer and Project Managers, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to resolve issues related to inventory accuracy, schedule adherence, and part specifications. Facilitate clear communication to support production goals.
• Leadership in Scheduling Initiatives: Take a leadership role in production schedule reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and system implementation projects (e.g., Epicor ERP enhancements). Actively manage and resolve issues on the Held For list to maintain production flow.
• Capacity Planning Support: Assist the Master Scheduler in analyzing shop floor capacity, forecasting resource needs, and preparing documentation to support strategic production planning.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and schedule adherence. Generate reports to support decision-making and process optimization.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all production control activities comply with aerospace regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, ITAR) and maintain accurate documentation for audits and traceability.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline production control processes, reduce waste, and enhance system utilization through collaboration with the Operations and IT teams.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 or more years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years’ extensive experience using business software including but not limited to; spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and others. Epicor ERP experience is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Previous aerospace industry experience is a preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office products as well as ERP system (Epicor preferred)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Legally able to work in the US without VISA sponsorship
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment when applicable
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures
