Job Responsibilities:
- Provide application support for General Lab, Microbiology, Anatomic Pathology, Blood Bank, and Outreach services.
- Manage upgrades, configuration changes, and data integrity within supported systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, lab staff, physicians, and external vendors to ensure seamless operation of lab applications.
- Deliver user training and develop system documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other industry standards for data security and integrity.
- Lead or contribute to projects, including system enhancements and new implementations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing laboratory systems.
- Strong background with Cerner PathNet, especially in Lab Outreach services.
- In-depth understanding of lab workflows, operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with HL7 standards, Microsoft Windows environments, and integration tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects successfully.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
