Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, client relationship, or account management.
- Experience selling Cloud-based services, in the SMB market.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling to businesses in specific verticals (e.g., retail, logistics, travel).
- Experience with APIs and web development concepts.
- Understanding of Google Maps Platform and its capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

As a Geo SMB Sales Specialist within Google Cloud, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion within the Small and Medium Business segment. You will focus on identifying, qualifying, and facilitate agreements for Google Maps Platform, helping businesses leverage the power of location-based services to enhance their operations, customer experiences, and bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the SMB market for Google Maps Platform.
- Conduct discovery to understand customer needs and specific requirements, present solutions with clear differentiation and business outcomes in focus.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams, including core sellers, marketing, programs, and product go-to-market to build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking progress and forecasting.
- Lead discussions for various agreements and pricing structures.
- Communicate customer needs and industry patterns back to Google Maps product teams to influence our roadmap.
