CTG is seeking to fill an SAP S/4HANA Production/PP-PI & Integration Consultant opening for our client in Pittsburgh, PA.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $50.00/hour

Duties:

  • Implement and support SAP S/4HANA PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) module based on business needs
  • Design and develop integration solutions between SAP and plant MES systems, as well as logistics/warehousing systems
  • Provide technical expertise throughout all project phases, from design through go-live
  • Develop functional specifications and support testing activities
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create system and process documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA production processes and functionalities
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP PP-PI configuration and support, including control recipe integration
  • Strong experience integrating SAP with plant MES systems using Control Recipes, Process Instructions, and Process Messages
  • Familiarity with SAP integration technologies such as RFC, BAPI, IDocs, APIs, and SFTP
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehousing integration within SAP
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • High level of analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks under pressure and tight timelines
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Team-oriented with proven ability to work collaboratively in global and cross-functional environments
  • Intercultural awareness and adaptability
  • Solid understanding of IT architecture, cloud solutions, and ERP systems

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP PP-PI implementation experience
  • Proven track record of SAP-MES system integrations
  • Experience with production planning, execution, and control in SAP
  • Experience in team-based environments with active participation in solution design and delivery
  • Experience working in the chemical or process manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP EWM, RF integration, or ABAP development is a plus
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL Server, .NET applications, and T-SQL is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
