CTG is seeking to fill an ELK Stack Developer opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing observability solutions using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to gather logging, metrics, and performance data for proactive monitoring and analysis.
• Create and manage dashboards and alerts to support operational monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Integrate log management and monitoring capabilities into CI/CD pipelines to support DevOps practices.
• Support containerized environments using Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Utilize Google Cloud services including Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub for log processing and analytics.
• Write efficient and maintainable code in Java (8 or later); Python experience is a strong plus.
• Troubleshoot system performance and reliability issues using data from observability tools.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Java (8 or later); Python proficiency preferred.
• Strong experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud technologies such as GKE, Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience:

• 5+ years of software development or DevOps engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ELK Stack.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions in cloud-native environments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
