Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist Instructor
- Teach fundamental skills needed for the operation and setup of complex manufacturing machines that utilize turning, milling and multi-axis machining technology using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program
- Motivate and encourage student growth and professionalism
- Support and communicate progress with student
- Prepare students for a successful career in CNC Technology
Requirements of a CNC Machinist Instructor
- 3+ years of CNC Machining field experience
- Good understanding of the CNC industry
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to operate multi-axis machines, lathes, and mills
- Solid mechanical aptitude and strong understanding of CNC G-codes
- NIMS Certification and/or Mastercam experience-a plus
