Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist Instructor

  • Teach fundamental skills needed for the operation and setup of complex manufacturing machines that utilize turning, milling and multi-axis machining technology using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program
  • Motivate and encourage student growth and professionalism
  • Support and communicate progress with student
  • Prepare students for a successful career in CNC Technology

Requirements of a CNC Machinist Instructor

  • 3+ years of CNC Machining field experience
  • Good understanding of the CNC industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to operate multi-axis machines, lathes, and mills
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and strong understanding of CNC G-codes
  • NIMS Certification and/or Mastercam experience-a plus
