CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable CNC Machinist to join our team in a non-production, custom tooling environment. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and occasionally wire EDM machines to manufacture and repair precision tooling for our customers. Each week brings new challenges and projects, making this a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for machinists who enjoy variety and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines.
• Conversationally program jobs directly at the machine controller.
• Manufacture and repair custom tooling based on customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Adapt to changing job requirements based on incoming orders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot older CNC equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machine operation and programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Wire EDM experience is a huge plus.
• Precision grinding experience in a tool and die setting is highly desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $79000.00/yr.

Company provides 401k with match, health, vision, and dental. Periodic employee wellness events and company gatherings.

This is a fully onsite position in Anoka,MN.
