Your role in building Tipalti’s AI assistant

As Product Manager for Tipalti AI, you’ll help shape the future of how our users engage with the Tipalti platform. You’ll define and evolve the strategy for our in-app AI assistant, partnering with engineering, design, and product teams across the company to deliver a unified, intelligent, and delightful user experience. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI, intuitive UX, and enterprise workflow optimization.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for

  • Driving the product roadmap for the Tipalti AI assistant, balancing near-term deliverables with long-term innovation.
  • Collaborating with AI engineers, backend developers, and UX designers to design user-centric, explainable, and effective AI experiences.
  • Partnering with domain PMs to integrate AI assistance across billing, procurement, payments, and more—ensuring contextual relevance and consistency.
  • Gathering feedback from internal stakeholders and end users to continuously refine assistant capabilities.
  • Translating technical possibilities into clear user value and business impact, making trade-offs when needed.
  • Defining and tracking success metrics related to assistant usage, adoption, user satisfaction, and business outcomes.
  • Championing best practices in AI UX, including transparency, control, and ethical AI use.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on product management experience, ideally working on AI/ML products, B2B SaaS, or complex user workflows.
  • Technical background or strong technical fluency, with the ability to work closely with engineers and understand architectural trade-offs.
  • Passion for great UX, with a user-first mindset and experience collaborating with designers on intuitive interfaces.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity, with the ability to move quickly and adapt priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
