About the Role
As an Associate Director, Product Operations, you will report to the VP & GM TAA Region West and will be an integral part of the Region West Management Team.
You will provide leadership and guidance to a multi-country team of managers and senior professionals, driving the performance and results across multiple related areas: Business Analytics, Digital Systems/Operations and Project & Program management.
You will leverage your extensive analytical & digital skills to uncover insights that steer strategic business decisions and projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that business processes and systems are optimized and that management decisions are data-driven.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor a team of two managers and senior professionals in three countries (Belgium, Netherlands, UK), fostering growth and high performance;
- Oversee the development of complex operational analyses and strategic initiatives across multiple departments;
- Develop, manage, monitor and implement the digital strategy & transformation in TAA Region West in line with Wolters Kluwer’s values, objectives and priorities;
- Responsible for application management of all assigned internal applications;
- Lead efforts to identify, map, and implement strategic process improvements for our region;
- Direct the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and long-term business plans;
- Maintain high standards in tracking and managing business operations data to ensure integrity;
- Oversee large-scale projects and special initiatives that impact multiple business areas;
- Develop strategic project management frameworks and methodologies;
- Work closely with senior leadership to align business analysis & operational excellence activities with organizational strategies;
- Manage the allocation of financial and human resources within related departments;
- Ensure thorough documentation of all business processes, systems, financial strategies, and analytical findings;
- Champion innovative approaches to business analysis, digital systems & operations, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
Skills:
- Strategic Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to perform high-level operational analyses with strategic implications;
- Executive Leadership: Competence in leading and inspiring a team of managers and senior analysts & project managers;
- Communication Expertise: Exceptional communication skills for effectively conveying complex findings to senior leadership;
- Financial Leadership: Proficiency in directing advanced budgeting and financial planning activities;
- Data Tools Mastery: Expertise in using advanced data management tools and platforms;
- Strategic Process Improvement: Ability to design and implement strategic process improvements that drive organizational success;
- Project Management: Proficiency in overseeing complex, large-scale projects and initiatives;
- Stakeholder Partnership: Excellent skills in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders.
Location
Hybrid function, covering Region West (UK, Belgium and The Netherlands). Your primary office will be Mechelen (BE), Hoevelaken (NL) or Kingston upon Thames (UK), but traveling to the other two offices will be required. Working from home is also supported. On average you will spend two days a week in the office.
