Job Description

As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will take on more advanced testing responsibilities and contribute significantly to our quality assurance efforts. Your expertise will help create robust test automation solutions, ensuring software reliability and performance. You will play a crucial role in mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation framework and test suites using Java/JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Work across UI, API, backend, and performance testing areas to ensure full end-to-end automation coverage.
  • Utilize and extend automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Develop and execute complex API tests and backend validation .
  • Drive performance testing efforts using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent tools.
  • Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
  • Leverage cloud technologies with a solid working knowledge of Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes; familiarity with AWS add-ons is a plus.
  • Incorporate accessibility and security testing practices into the automation process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation, infrastructure, and test environment issues.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to support seamless releases.
  • Stay up to date with new automation trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in software quality assurance with strong hands-on knowledge of complex products, platforms.
  • Previous exposure of working in a fast-paced development and delivery organization
  • Relevant QA experience with CI set up, quality overviewing
  • Experience with end to end testing of cross-product applications/frameworks
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Experience in creating test cases and test plans based on project requirements and scope
  • Preferable to have hand on experience in Automated testing for tools such as Selenium.
  • A thorough understanding of working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Knowledge on DevOps practices is a bonus
  • Knowledge of complex products and financial instruments is a bonus
  • Fluency in English
