Job Description
The Movenpick Hotel Kigali, Rwanda is recruiting an Executive Assistant to join its team.
Job Purpose:
To provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager while coordinating and overseeing quality-related initiatives, ensuring compliance with brand standards and driving guest satisfaction excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Assistance :
- Manage the General Manager’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
- Handle correspondence and confidential documents with utmost discretion.
2. Quality Coordination:
- Monitor key quality performance indicators (LQA, TrustYou, internal audits, etc.).
- Support the development, implementation, and tracking of departmental quality action plans.
- Coordinate and facilitate quality meetings with departmental leaders.
- Serve as the link between operational teams and management on quality projects.
3. Communication & Reporting:
- Compile and prepare quality reports for senior leadership and corporate stakeholders.
- Draft internal documents and quality-related communications (procedures, newsletters, etc.).
- Conduct research and benchmarking on hospitality best practices in service and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, (Bachelor’s level or higher).
- Previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion, initiative, and analytical thinking.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
