In this leadership position, you’ll collaborate closely with the Site Leader to support day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and outstanding service to our valued customers.

Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience+ bonus eligibility

Schedule: This role requires availability on nights and weekends.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves direct supervision of teams and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Safety & Compliance

  • Create a safe and proactive work environment, ensuring all team members understand and follow safety protocols.
  • Implement EH&S policies consistently and support ongoing safety testing.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Train, motivate, and support team members, promoting a culture of safety, morale, and continuous improvement.
  • Help create effective work schedules, ensuring an experienced and efficient crew for every shift.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage day-to-day logistics to ensure contract requirements are met, with a focus on timely, high-quality service.
  • Oversee cost efficiency in areas like payroll, fuel, and equipment, maintaining organized records and adhering to the preventive maintenance program.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain a positive relationship with customers by meeting or exceeding service goals and acting as a reliable point of contact.

Administrative Oversight

  • Support the Site Leader with essential administrative tasks such as timekeeping, evaluations, and incident reporting.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in rail or logistics operations
  • Experience in military settings is valued but not required

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communicator with proficiency in verbal, written, and active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, with proven problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
