What You’ll Do

  • Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Review and verify timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes to employee pay.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HRIS/payroll system.
  • Calculate and administer payroll deductions including benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports; ensure proper documentation and audit trail.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
  • Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure payroll and accounting alignment.
  • Participate in audits and assist with reporting as required by internal or external stakeholders.
  • Support payroll process optimization efforts and participate in special projects to enhance payroll operations and overall efficiency.
  • Support other project work within Total Rewards function.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organizational, planning, and technical skills; proficient in productivity tools, i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, power BI, etc.
  • High attention to detail with problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team while maintaining professional composure.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency without compromising accuracy or quality.
  • Maintains a positive and energetic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or total rewards preferred.
  • Workday Software experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $28-$35. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
