The Certified Anesthesia Technician provides technical support for anesthesia services related to supportive anesthesia care within Perioperative Services, and ancillary departments as needed. Under the supervision of an RN, the anesthesia technician functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team in maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment, and, as in the role of logistics technician, assists with patients as appropriate and facilitates the smooth flow of surgical or special procedures. Demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and the organization. Applies good interpersonal and communication process utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent OR
Specialized/technical training; Related undergraduate study From an American Society of Anesthesia Technologist and Technicians (ASATT) approved program if not Certified.
Minimum Experience:
1 year Anesthesia Technician in an acute care setting.
Required Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Certified Anesthesiology Technician (ASATT)
Pay Transparency
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.00 - $45.20.
