Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Perform assembly tasks on industrial paint shakers and mixers. Start in an entry-level cell to assemble a one-gallon shaker machine, progressing through various assembly tasks such as hooking wires, placing buttons and stickers, running power cords, and fastening components using tools like cordless drills and screwdrivers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble one-gallon shaker machines in an entry-level cell.
• Hook wires and place buttons and stickers on machines.
• Run power cords through frames and fasten components using nuts and bolts.
• Utilize cordless drills and Phillips screwdrivers for assembly tasks.
• Follow work instructions with pictures to complete duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with screwdrivers and drills.
• Proficiency in using torque tools and power tools.
• Ability to use a tape measure and follow blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and general labor skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months experience in production/manufacturing assembly is preferred.
• Mechanical inclination with experience using drills and screwdrivers.
• Ability to lift 45-50 lbs.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with no eye protection required. Work 1st shift (Monday to Friday) from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with 15-minute breaks at 8:30am and 1:00pm, and lunch from 11:00am to 11:30am. Headphones allowed while working. Open to hiring two people for part-time work between 6am-2:30pm with a consistent schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
