This position supports the HTM department for all of Mayo Clinic locations including Phoenix, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; Rochester, MN and Mayo Clinic Health System. It can be primarily a remote work position however, the incumbent must live within driving distance of a Mayo Clinic campus.
This position independently manages multiple medium or single department-scale PCCS projects from inception to close, including risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance and change control.
Responsible for preparing and providing design and construction related documents, working cooperatively with Facilities & Support Services, project managers, construction managers, outside consultants and HTM, required to support construction and the installation of the Patient Care Communication System (PCCS) and related infrastructure systems. Works collaboratively with Tech Specialist I, Design Engineers, Design Technicians, and Facilities & Support Services to create and maintain institutional standards including construction specifications, reference standards, design guidelines, drawing symbology and database drawings. Serves as a technical resource to outside consultants and HTM.

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Additional or advanced degrees in technical, business, or management areas are beneficial. Strong leadership, communications, and organization skills are essential. Must be skilled in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software. Other skills such as financial, business processes, budgeting, and continuous improvement would be helpful.
