Job Title: Driver Trainer – Golden Pass

Department / Division: Coach USA Industrial Division

FLSA Status: Part Time, Hourly

Work Location: Orange, TX

Salary: $25.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Promote SAFETY AWARENESS and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
• Assist with road testing of new & current drivers to evaluate skill and performance.
• On-Going training as required per established training program (30-60-90 day, bi-annual refresher, ADA & accident training)
• Communicating with Safety & Operation on driver performance
• All other duties as directed by the Project Manager and/or Safety Manager.
• Available for flexible scheduling

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) “B” with a “P” endorsement plus any other endorsement needed to accomplish training of drivers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of Safety rules and Federal and State regulations for facilities and drivers
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
• Must be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school or GED preferred
• 1 year related experience and/or training, preferred
• L.L.L.C. certified (preferred)
