Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Lead efforts to optimize the company's application solutions across all KNX brands. Provide high-level application support across all KNX brands. Mentor and guide less experienced team members.

  • Conduct peer review for application test scripts and lead the development of testing strategies.
  • Deploy applications via pipelines.
  • Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
  • Lead the consultation process with the software development team, internal users, and clients to drive significant application performance improvements.
  • Independently establish and analyze the root causes of complex application errors.
  • Lead the assessment and resolution of critical end-user issues with applications in production.
  • Determine and implement comprehensive software support requirements.
  • Lead users in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing, alpha, and beta testing programs.
  • Manage complex environments, implement/deploy critical software upgrades, and provide expert support post-implementation.
  • Lead the coordination and communication of complex applications support activities with key stakeholders.
  • Perform in-depth analyses on software application functionality and provide strategic recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead the management of code migration across environments, ensuring seamless and synchronized functionality.
  • Lead the review of platform requirements and actively participate in the design and implementation of solutions in collaboration with vendors and other IT groups.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the platform for monitoring, logging, and orchestration of Docker applications running on Kubernetes.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 5+ years RedHat OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes experience required.
  • Previous experience and proficiency with Helm and/or Ansible and/or Terraform required.
  • Previous experience with Java, .NET, Python, SQL, MongoDB or similar preferred.
  • BS in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Certification in Kubernetes Certified Administrator and/or Linux required.
  • Must possess advanced understanding of application architecture, troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization.
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess ability to mentor others.
  • Must possess excellent project management skills.
  • Muse possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
