Acara Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Austin TX

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project management efforts with a strong emphasis on financial tracking and forecasting. This individual will play a key role in supporting a senior technical project lead by handling the financial and administrative components of projects.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills and project financial experience who are looking to make an impact behind the scenes of high-value engineering and manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the tracking of project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial projections
• Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Quantify and communicate project financial performance and variance
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and performance metrics
• Support the project manager by handling financial reports and status updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals

Job Requirements

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Background in project financials or project controls
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical project environment
• Familiarity with value engineering concepts
• Exposure to ERP or project management software
